In addition, President/CEO Darron Scott presented two special department awards. On behalf of the Operations Department, Dean Wise accepted the award in recognition of the Operations crews’ efforts to restore power to Chiniak, Pasagshak and Port Lions after a particularly brutal February ice storm. On behalf of the Power Generation Department, Ron Sternberg accepted the award for their ingenious solution to the problem of a leaking pipe deep within the Terror Lake dam.
