America’s electric cooperatives have designated the second Monday of April as National Lineman Appreciation Day to honor the hard working men and women who often work long hours in challenging conditions to keep the lights on.  Line work is a physically demanding job which requires the ability to handle heavy equipment, be technically savvy, be comfortable working at heights and in cramped places, and be able to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions and at all times whenever needed.

KEA invites our members to take a moment to thank a lineman for the work they do to keep the lights on twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week.  They are your friends and neighbors!
